Prayagraj: Bharatiya Janata Party will retain power with an absolute majority in the 2027 state assembly elections, said deputy chief minister Brijesh Pathak while adding that the strategies of the opposition of deceiving the people would not work anymore.
The deputy CM was in Sangam city on Friday to attend a function.
While talking to reporters, he said that, "The BJP will win again in 2027 with a landslide victory. As for the opposition parties including Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP), they have deceived the public all along but their tactics will not work any more." During the SP's rule, who got four opportunities to run the state, goons and mafias were dominant. There was mafia rule everywhere but the situation has changed no, he said.
On state budget, Pathak said that it will accelerate the pace of development.
