AU student suspended for remarks against faculty

Authorities of Allahabad University (AU) have suspended a student of BA-II, Jitesh Kumar Mishra, on charges of passing objectionable comments to one of the female guest faculty of AU during online classes.

Prayagraj: Authorities of Allahabad University (AU) have suspended a student of BA-II, Jitesh Kumar Mishra, on charges of passing objectionable comments to one of the female guest faculty of AU during online classes.
According to chief proctor Prof Harsh Kumar, Jitesh, a native of Kunda, has been suspended following a written complaint lodged by the female guest faculty member of the art faculty of AU.

As per the complaint, Jitesh had passed objectionable remarks during the online classes that were being taken by the said teacher. He had also send inappropriate messages on the WhatsApp of the teacher and was trying to spread humours on the social media and malign her image because of which she felt mentally tortured.
Prof Kumar has asked Jitesh to meet him on April 19 along with his parents and explain as to why he should not be expelled from AU for his inappropriate action. TNN
