AU Economics dept collects 75 units of blood

Prayagraj:The department of Economics of Allahabad University organised a blood donation camp commemorating the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The department had set the goal of collecting 75 units of blood which they did successfully. Saiyyed Mohammad Naqui, honoured by Uttar Pradesh government for highest 124 time blood donation and Amit Banerjee, the nodal officer of Red Cross Society and 86 time blood donor, also marked their presence to motivate the students, informed dean Commerce, Prof P K Ghosh.“ AU thus becomes the first and foremost university to establish the record of collecting 75-unit blood donation on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, said Prof Ghosh.
