ALLAHABAD: It's not just the political bigwigs who are trying to make the most of the Samajwadi Party (SP) family tussle ahead of the UP assembly polls. The shopkeepers selling crackers have found out a unique way to rake in moolah. Be it fancy fuljhadis or the booster bombs, the firecrackers available in the markets bear names and pictures of netas, this year.

, on the `pataka' covers. Shoppers are finding it amusing to see crackers with the names of Samajwadi ka tag war (tug of war in SP), depicting the current crisis in the SP. Likewise, Ram Gopal Yadav ki Lal Mirch bomb and Amar Singh phuljari, too, have caught people's attention. These crackers are in demand, especially among those following the crisis going on in the political circles, said Mohd Quadir, a cracker wholesale dealer of the city. A customer at one of the city markets, said, “It is interesting how these shopkeepers are cashing in on the political issues. Even I bought a cracker bearing pictures of SP leaders,“ said Prashant Rai, a student of BSc at Allahabad University.
