Prayagraj: The AITA CS National Under-18 Tennis tournament for boys and girls commenced at the Allahabad Gymkhana tennis academy in Chandrashekhar Azad Park, on Monday. The event is being organised by the tennis development welfare society and features players from states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
The tournament was inaugurated by chief guest Justice Satyaveer Singh, who encouraged the participants.
Tournament director Saif Iqbal, organiser Asad Iqbal, and chief referee Akshat Singh welcomed players and officials.
Matches will continue over the next few days, including pre-quarterfinals and doubles events, providing a platform for young players to compete at the national level.
