Police have not disclosed the names of the officers who have filed FIRs against Tandon. Earlier in the day, a group of lawyers asked the president and secretary of Ajmer

BAR association

to suspend the membership of advocate Tandon for his alleged post on social media.

Tandon, too, with another bunch of lawyers approached president of Ajmer BAR association and demanded that advocates should stand with him since the IAS Association has come out against him and he may not get justice.

Police investigating the case against Tandon will try to locate the video clip that he allegedly claimed in his social media post. The post of advocate Tandon allegedly claimed that there was a pornographic video in which a woman IAS officer in Ajmer was found in compromising state.

“No such video has surfaced so far and the post was based on rumours to degrade the dignity of women officers,” said a police source source.

Even accused Tandon accepted before media that he had not seen the video and wrote his post only on rumours.

Police sources said that Tandon has removed all such posts from his Facebook account but the cops were trying to recover these. Police will investigate the intention of the accused for writing such a post against woman IAS officer on social media.
