Ajmer: Addressing a public meeting at Azad Park here on Tuesday, former chief minister Ashok Gehlot said that Rajasthan had sent 24 BJP MPs to the Lok Sabha in the last polls and people should ask what these MPs had done for Rajasthan. Targeting BJP’s Ajmer MP Bhagirath Choudhary, Gehlot said that he “never came back to people to understand their difficulties.” “Modi govt has seized bank accounts of the party that prevented a separate Khalistan and now the PM is giving clarifications on electoral bonds,” Gehlot said.He added that Modi govt was misusing ED and Income-Tax departments to force people to join their party. On the manifesto of BJP, Gehlot said, “Congress govt in Rajasthan brought schemes for healthcare, employment and insurance, but the BJP govt is closing all such schemes. The manifesto of BJP is based on lies... This is a time to save the Constitution, to save democracy.”
