Four killed, two hurt as car hits two-wheelers in Ajmer

AJMER: Four persons died and two others were injured severely in an accident near Bijaynagar town of the district, about 70 km from Ajmer, here on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred when a car coming from Bhilwara hit a motorcycle and a scooter on road side. Police have registered a case and investigating it.
According to police, the car was coming from Bhilwara.It hit a motorcycle and a scooter near footpath. "Two people died on the spot while two others died on their way to JLN Hospital," police said.
Police added that two persons, including a woman, who died on the spot have not been identified yet as the car crushed them badly. Whereas two others who were taken to Ajmer were from Bijaynagar town and were returning after working in a factory, police said.
"The driver and one person in the car were also injured in the accident because the car turned turtle. They were taken to hospital," said police.
According to sources, traffic was disrupted on Ajmer-Bhilwara road following the accident.
