Ramavtar and his friends were eager to get work in Armenia and hence collected money from their families and relatives to fulfill their dream of working in a foreign country.
“He charged Rs 3 lakh per person to arrange a working visa in that country. Last month, Kanhaiya took us to Armenia on a tourist visa and locked all five of us in a room for five days,” added Vishnoi.
Vishnoi said, “It was only after our tourist visa ended, we were sent back to India. On returning, when we went to Kanhaiya's house, he was untraceable. There is a big gang involved in this fraud. Hence, we decided to seek help from the police and lodged a complaint.” The victims alleged there is a gang working to dupe youths to provide work in foreign countries and hence they should be arrested as soon as possible.
