Your sweet nothings a porn video?
AHMEDABAD:Imagine video clippings of intimate moments you shared with your lovercirculating in mobile phones across the state! The thought is enough to givecouples goose bumps. But, shockingly it can be true. The sex clipping racketbusted by the Kagdapith police station officials is enough to leave young loverson tenterhooks. The arrest of Asfaq Chhipa, owner of the shop sellingpornographic video clippings, has opened a proverbial Pandora's box for thecops.
From prima facie evidence, police officials believe that thepornographic clippings could have been shot using hidden cameras inside couples'rooms and trial rooms inside malls and apparel shops.

"Chhipa owns amobile shop near Gita Mandir bus terminus and is accused of selling pornographicclips to mobile phone users. Each two-minute clip was priced at Rs 100. And,Chhipa's computer had more than 100 such clips," said RG Patel, inspector ofKagdapith police station
Police investigations have revealed that noless than 150 hotels and restaurants in the city house couples' rooms. Theserooms are situated close to colleges and are frequented by young lovers.
Also, there are some cheap hotels which rent out rooms on hourlybasis to couples. "In many of these rooms, we believe, hidden cameras areinstalled. Many clippings that we have seized from the Chhipa's computer wererecorded in these rooms. We are now tracking the hotels and malls," said aninvestigating police official.
Cops found these clippings in a foldernamed Ahmedabad. "This may prove that all the videos were shot in hotels, motelsand malls of Ahmedabad," said a police official.
The pornographicclips, said police, have been recorded in consent with hotel staff and employeesof the malls. These clippings were later sold to shopkeepers likeChhipa.
"It is clear that people who have been shot are unaware ofthe camera," said police investigators.
In some clippings, dialogueshave been superimposed. Police officials believe that the racket is big andspread across the state. "Many more shops must be selling such clippings whilethe recordings could be carried out anywhere, even your neighbouring malls,"said police investigators.

From the video clippings, the location or malls wherethe clippings were recorded are not clear. People who have used hidden camerashave ensured that the hotel, motel or mall's identity remains hidden. "Thoughthe voices heard in the back ground make it clear that all the recordings havebeen made in Gujarat," said a police source.
Asfaq Chhipa, who hasbeen arrested in this regard, claims that he does not know where the clippingswere shot.
The forensic investigators will now verify the number oftimes each clipping has been downloaded. "This will be revealed by the qualityof the clippings," said police officials.
The kind of digital cameraor mobile phone used to record the clippings is also being traced. Forensicevidences will be crucial in busting the racket and nailing theaccused.
Be aware!
In the 100 odd clippingsseized from Chhipa, police have found one where the girl seems to know that sheis being shot. But in most of the clips, the victims seem to be totallyunaware.
"Girls should be extra careful about where and who they aregetting intimate with," said cops.
