Ahmedabad: A store manger of a leading jewellery chain on Saturday filed a complaint with Satellite police alleging that a woman, aged around 35, stole a gold bracelet worth Rs 1.50 lakh from the showroom in Jodhpur on October 20 afternoon.
Gaurav Soni, 39, a resident of Navrangpura, said in his FIR that he was checking the stock of all the jewellery on October 20 night and found that one gold bracelet was missing.

Soni checked the CCTV footage of the showroom in which the accused woman was captured stealing the gold bracelet weighing around 30.83 grams.
He said in the FIR that the woman entered the showroom at around 12.15pm on October 20 and went to a counter. She asked the salesperson to show some gold bangles and bracelets. When the salesperson was showing her gold bracelet, she wears one of them and concealed it beneath her top’s sleeves.
The woman later refused to buy anything and left the showroom at around 12.30pm, mentioned the FIR.
Soni approached Satellite police and filed a complaint of theft against an unknown woman.
Satellite police gathered CCTV footage of the showroom and also from the main road in Jodhpur to trace the accused.
