Woman dies in road accident

AHMEDABAD: A 35-year old woman succumbed to injuries late on Saturday night in an accident. The woman and her husband were hit by a speeding car on Friday night. B Division police have already arrested the car driver in the case.

On Friday, Dharmesh Shah and his wife Richa, residents of Panchvati society on Sola Road, were going on scooter on Mirambika road. The car hit the scooter and it was dragged for over 100 meters due to which Dharmesh was killed on the spot, whereas Richa sustained severe injuries.

She was rushed to a hospital where she died during treatment.
