AHMEDABAD: The Madhavpura police reported two cases of snatching and theft in a matter of one hour on Friday. Police suspect handiwork of two different gangs in these cases.
In first incidnet, Heena Trivedi, a resident of Swagat City, Adalaj, had come to the city and had withdrawn RS 4.40 lakh from a bank at Law Garden. She then took an auto and reached to Ashoknagar near Shahpur Darwaja at 1.30 pm.

As per her complaint, when she was getting down from the auto, two men came near her on a bike and snatched the bag containing cash and documents.
At 2.30 pm, the second incident took place when Ranchhod Parmar, a resident of Gomtipur, reported theft of Rs 2.25 lakh from his parked scooter. As per his complaint, he was standing near Delhi Darwaja when two men came near him and told him that his shirt was soiled. When he was cleaning the shirt after borrowing water from a nearby shop, a boy came near his scooter, opened the glovebox and fled with his bag.
