Trolling Ravish Kumar: Offence filed

Ahmedabad: City crime branch has lodged a complaint against a person, who holds a social media account by the name of Manish Somani, and has impersonated as an official at the Intelligence Bureau official. The accused had posted an abusive comment on the social media page of Ravish Kumar, an anchor of Hindi national TV channel. Crime branch officials said that the accused had posted that he is an alumni of IIM and an investigating officer with the Intelligence Bureau.
“We will write to the service providers of the social media platform to obtain the IP address of the device from which the social media account was created and the comments were posted on the page of the anchor,” said an official.
