TMC spokesman Saket Gokhale arrested hours after getting bail

Ahmedabad: Hours after he secured bail from a metropolitan court in the city, Gujarat police arrested Trinamool Congress (TMC) spokesman Saket Gokhale for the same offence — allegedly tweeting a fake newspaper clipping about Prime Minister Narendra Modi claiming Rs 30 crore were spent on his Morbi visit on October 30 after the suspension bridge tragedy.Morbi police on Thursday booked Gokhale under the Representation of the People Act, 1951, for promoting enmity between classes in connection with the election.On December 1, Ahmedabad city cybercrime police filed a complaint against Gokhale under IPC Sections 469 (forgery), 471 (using as genuine a forged material), 501 (printing or engraving matter known to be defamatory) and 505B (statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred or ill-will between classes).A BJP worker from the city, Amit Kothari, filed a complaint after which cybercrime police arrested Gokhale in Jaipur.
