Teenager alleges rape by employer's son
The victim has accused her employer's son, Dhaval Patel, 20, of raping her several times in the last seven months.
The victim has accused her employer's son, Dhaval Patel, 20, of raping her several times in the last seven months. She also alleged that Patel had threatened her into silence.
"The matter came to light when the victim's parents learnt that she was pregnant.
Police said that the complainant had been working at the Patels' residence in Shiv Shakti apartment in Nava Vadaj for eight months. Dhaval Patel is yet to be arrested.
"Soon after the complaint was lodged, we rushed to the Patel residence, only to find it locked. We are in touch with their friends and neighbours to track down the accused and his parents, who are in the jewellery making business," Raval added.
Meanwhile, the victim has been sent for medical examination. Police are depending on DNA mapping to strengthen their case
