scene in aapnu Amdavad has suffered a lot ever since the pandemic hit. The vendors were finally allowed to open after Unlock 2.0 but struggled to do business due to strict night deadline. The vendors are hoping for a jump in footfall now that the night deadline has been shifted to 10 pm.

shares, “Business has been down. People were wary of stepping out and also concerned about reaching home by 9 pm. Now that the curfew will be removed, we can hope that more people will come. I’m expecting some increase in business.”

Similarly, Pratap Singh Rajput, who manages a food truck, is sceptical about business going up now. He shares, “Business is normal at the moment, although it is quite down as compared to pre-COVID times. Even when the curfew is lifted, it will be difficult to determine whether people would actually step out and eat at street food joints. We can’t expect a jump in business because we don’t know if people would visit us.”
