Spurned banker harasses junior, beats her father

Ahmedabad: A 57-year-old share broker from Paldi filed a complaint on Wednesday with the local police alleging that his daughter’s senior was harassing her as she had refused to marry him. Ketan Chalishajarsaid in his FIR that the accused, Rohan Shah also defamed his daughter Mili, 27, and thrashed him and his son Darshil. Chalishajar said that Shah is a relationship manager at a private bank where Mili is assistant manager.Chalishajar said that Shah had proposed to Mili but she and her family members turned him down.
In April, Mili’s marriage was fixed. When Shah learnt about Mili’s marriage, he called Chalishajar and threatened him.
Later, he called Mili’s fiancé and told him that she was having affairs with many men. Mili’s fiancé informed Chalishajar about the call. When Chalishajar and Darshil tried to talk to Shah, he began thrashing them. Chalishajar filed a complaint against Shah. tnn
