Short film Boomerang gets selected at a film fest
It’s raining short films and the kind of content showcased online is fortunately very well received now, as compared to previously. Yet another short film

Talking about what inspired him to write a story like that Vania informs, “In my opinion, we all have some level of selfishness in ourselves and people will be able to relate to this story very much. It is in human nature that we don't care about anybody when something is beneficial to us and we don't even recognize at that moment and then karma begins its work to balance everything, that's what I think”
The short film was shoot in April 2019 in the city of Dholka, Gujarat. “Then we went to a small village named Charada near Mansa for the indoor shoots of the lead character's house in a haveli. Post the Gujarat schedule we went shot in Udaipur, Rajasthan in the month of February 2020.”
All the post production was done during the lockdown says Vania. “It was a plus point for us because we got more time to give our product a good finishing touch,” concludes the filmmaker.
Sandeep Solanki, line producer says getting selected at the film fest has given them more confidence, “It's really great news for us as we put so much efforts to make this short film beautiful. “

, who has written and directed the film says, “The story is very relatable. It is about a man (karodimal) who is very frugal. He lends money for interest and he doesn't care about anything else but his interest. (e.g. He is so frugal that when he prays to God, he doesn't even burn the whole incense sticks.) Then he finds a torn currency note in bundle of his daily collection of money and he tries to get rid of that note but whatever he does, it doesn't work in his favor and that note returns back to himself.
