Shop owner assaulted

AHMEDABAD: A stationary shop owner has filed a complaint with Navrangpura police against three youths for assault and causing damage to his shop.
Police said Alpesh Patel, a resident of Ghatlodia, owns Dhir Stationary at Samudra Complex near CG Road. In his complaint he has stated that he was parking his car on Friday at about 6.30pm when he had an altercation with a youth, later identified as one Anand Desai, a resident of Rabarivaas in Navrangpura.
“Desai allegedly beat up Patel near the parking and also attacked Patel’s father Rasikbhai.Desai later called up his friends who beat up the duo and also damaged the stationary shop,” said an official.
