AHMEDABAD: A 16-year-old boy
Saurabhsinh Chauhan
was stabbed and beaten mercilessly by a group of persons for getting himself photographed with Gujarati film artist and singer
Vikram Thakor. The incident happened in a religious programmed organized at Ghodasar. The accused are absconding said a police official.
According to complaint lodged by
Kaushalsinh Chauhan
, a private security officer his son Saurabhsinh had gone to witness a religious programme which was attended by Gujarati film actor and singer Vikram Thakor.
“When Saurabhsinh tried to take a selfie with Vikram, accused Ashok Thakor, Hardik Thakor , Brijesh Thakor, Bhavesh Thakor and others stopped him and started beating him.
“They also stabbed the boy in the leg and beat him mercilessly with sticks and metal rods. Saurabhsinh has been rushed to
LG hospital
for treatment,” said a police official.
