’s resistanceIn Rajkot, Gujarat recovered from a poor start to post a respectable 334 for six at the stumps on first day of the match against Kerala. Het Patel (146 not out) and Karan Patel (120) scripted the turnaround for Gujarat who were tottering at 33 for four after being asked to bat first. Het and Karan added 234 runs for the sixth wicket and the stand put Gujarat in a position of strength. For Kerala, MD Nidheesh took four for 30.
