Shailesh Patel allegedly carried out the Rs 25 lakh theft at the house of
Prerana Shah between January 31 and February 7. Prerana, a classmate of Yukta, lives in Shyamal County bungalows in Waghodia. In her complaint with Waghodia police on February 25, Prerana said that Yukta had invited her to stay over on January 31. Later, Yukta’s mother Neelam along with Siddharth and Shailesh Patel went to Prerana’s house and stole one of her cellphones and jewellery worth Rs 25 lakh.
