Police sub-inspector threatens to kill wife with revolver in Ahmedabad
AHMEDABAD: A woman,
Police source said both PSI Acharya and Ruchita had divorced their earlier partners and had a love marriage.
Addressing media Assistant commissioner of Police, Mini Joseph said that they have lodged an offence against the accused under sections of 498(A), 323, 294(b), 506(2) and 114 and are probing the details mentioned in the FIR.

According to the FIR, at Deesa when she saw the photo of a child with the PSI in house, she came to know that the PSI was married earlier and has divorced his wife.
The FIR, mentions that her in-laws forced her wear saree in the house and quarreled with her on petty issues. "They even beat her up when she denied. The woman has alleged that her husband even did not take her to the doctor when she was ill and when her mother took her to the doctor, it was diagnosed that she had stones in both her kidneys. "The complaint has even alleged that her husband and in-laws alleged that she had committed theft in the house. She has alleged that in December 2020, her in laws threw her belonging out of the house and asked her to get out. But with neighbors intervening they allowed her to live that night in the house. She has alleged that when she came back to the city, she called up her husband several times but he did not receive the phone and once or twice, when he received the calls, he said that he feels like killing him with his revolver and wants divorce from her.

The friendship went ahead and both fell in love. The PSI told the complaint to divorce her earlier husband and marry him.
