AHMEDABAD: Amid speculations of his already fleeing abroad, the Vastrapur police station officials have issued a lookout notice for Sunil Kakkad, director of city-based Sai Infosystems (SIS) on Sunday. The notice against Kakkad, accused of not paying salary to his staff for long, will now make him wanted at all the international airports.
Kakkad - along with four other directors - was named in a cheating case in June by the collaboration of 400 SIS employees, who claimed that they were not paid salaries for the past 10 months.
The complaint was registered under the Wages Act and IPC. Earlier this month, police had arrested Samir Kakkad, Sunil's brother and one of the directors.
Talking about the notice, MK Rana, inspector of Vastrapur police station, stated that the next step would be the red corner notice by the CID (crime) after a stipulated time. "We have asked the airport authorities to report his presence at any airport in the country - either while exiting or on return," he said.
