AHMEDABAD: The Vastrapur police officials received cross-complaints after a private hospital staff and relatives of a patient came to blows on Friday night.
According to a complaint lodged by Snehal Trivedi, a resident of Jhanvi Bungalows, Bopal, his son Abhinay was admitted to Sanjivani Hospital near Vastrapur lake for dengue treatment. Trivedi said they had made it clear that they had medical insurance and would like to go for cashless treatment.

Jayesh Trivedi, working with a private TV channel and one of the relatives, called up his cameraman when the authorities did not budge.
On the other hand, Yogesh Surti, a resident of Ghatlodia and employee of Sanjivani Hospital, filed a complaint against Snehal Trivedi, Jayesh Trivedi and three others for the scuffle and creating environment of fear among other patients in the hospital.
