Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti says Rs 20 lakh compensation is ‘cheating’

on Friday said that the Rs 20 lakh compensation paid to the families of Patels who died during the quota agitation was “cheating”.

Bambhania said the government had promised Rs 35 lakh and government jobs within 10 days, through deputy chief minister Nitin Patel and some mediators. The government failed to provide the jobs and added that they will raise this issue ahead of the polls.

“During the meeting between representatives of the state government and PAAS, After one month, only Rs 20 lakh has been paid. The government and the so-called leaders have shown their inefficiency and cheated the community,” said Bambhania.
