Only 1 suicide due to harassment by creditors
The home department said as on June 16, 2009 there has been only one case where a person has committed suicide because a moneylender bothered him.
Gandhinagar: There has been only one suicide in Ahmedabad city due to harassment by moneylenders. No arrest has been made so far. The home department said as on June 16, 2009 there has been only one case where a person has committed suicide because a moneylender bothered him.
They are Girish Sanghavi of Bodakdev, Nalin Solanki of Bhudarpura, Nilesh Mehta and Ramesh Desai of Paldi, Mahavir Munim and a person named Dudhu. The department said police had raided their homes and business premises. However, it's still clueless about their whereabouts.
