NRI donates Rs 75 lakh to Civil Hospital

AHMEDABAD: Civil Hospital in the city received a donation of Rs 75 lakh from Narendra Patel, an NRI based in the US, at Pij near Nadiad on Friday. It was the second consecutive year when Patel made the donation of Rs 75 lakh.


According to the hospital authorities, it has been the biggest donation in individual capacity that the hospital has received so far. Dr Rakesh Joshi, medical superintendent of the hospital, said the amount will be used to improve facilities for patients and relatives.
