No forest land given to Mundra Port and SEZ in 2 yrs: Govt

Gandhinagar: The state govt informed the assembly on Friday that there was no change in the use of forest land in the past two years for Mundra Port and SEZ, and that there was no question of whether charges were levied according to Eco Zone Class 2 or Eco Zone Class 4.AAP MLA Hemant Ahir sought to know whether, in the past 2 years, govt charged Mundra Port and SEZ under Eco Class Zone 2 or Eco Zone Class 4 for converting forest land to other use.In his reply, the state forest and environment minister said there was no conversion of forest land to other use in the past two years for Mundra Port and SEZ.
