Novel coronavirus threat: Three test negative in Gujarat

AHMEDABAD: On Thursday, the specially set up lab for detection of

novel Coronavirus

(NCoV) at Civil Hospital analyzed three samples from Ahmedabad, Kheda and Vadodara. All three samples were negative, mentioned state health department officials. In total, 23 samples have been tested by National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune and at Civil Hospital and all have been termed negative.

“The screening at state airports have been strengthened and all the passengers, having any history of visiting China or nearby countries having history of nCoV are identified and advised quarantine. .
