AHMEDABAD: Parents of the 24-year-old boy who, according to police, ended his life by jumping from the sixth floor of a building or fell down while trying to escape through a window, has questioned the police theory. The boy, Nayan Jadhav, died on Sunday last.
Jadhav had gone to a 22-year-old married girl’s house with whom he was allegedly in relationship for the past three years.

According to the police, he went to the girl’s house in Gujarat Housing Board in Kaligam area last Sunday where the girl insisted on breakup as an contentious issue cropped up. Later, the girl went out with some of her friends and the boy too left the house.
“After a while, the girl realized that her house keys were with the boy. When she reached her house, the house was found to be closed. So, she started banging the doors due to which neighbours gathered there. When the girl and neighbours threatened to call the police, the boy either ended his life by jumping from the sixth floor of the house or fell down while trying to go down through a window,” said a police official.
Jadhav’s father, Magan Jadhav, raised doubts over the police version alleging that his son was murdered by someone.
