Muslim man honoured

Ahmedabad: Salim Shaikh received recognition from the police after he postponed the last rites of his wife until the conclusion of the Rathyatra procession in his area. Shaikh’s wife had passed away while undergoing treatment, and he brought her body to their residence.Cops inquired about his plans for the last rites. Shaikh told them he would perform the final rituals only after the yatra concluded in his area. Shaikh was felicitated for his act. tnn
