A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the 10th floor of a residential building in Khanpur.

AHMEDABAD: A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the 10th floor of a residential building in Khanpur.
The deceased was identified as Piyush Vohra, a resident of Adishwar flats in Paldi. Piyush was suffering from some mental illness and was also under psychiatric treatment, police said.
Soon after his parents went out for some work, Piyush boarded an AMTS bus and reached Khanpur.

He went up to the terrace of Gagan Vihar flats and jumped off. Local people saw his identity card and immediately contacted his parents and police.
His parents have informed Shahpur police station that he ended his life because he was fed up of his mental illness.
