Judicial custody for 5 in Naroda Patia case

AHMEDABAD: Atleast five accused in Naroda Patia case were sent to Sabarmati Central Jail on judicial custody after expiry of police remand on Friday.
They were produced before Magistrate R I Raval on the expiry of police remand, who sent Babu Bajrangi, Kisha Korani, Ashok Shelwat, Mukesh Chhara and P J Rajput, to judicial custody, according to police sources here.
The accused were remanded to police custody for their alleged involvement in killing of 86 persons at Naroda Patia on February 28 last.
Bajrani, Korani and Rajput were also accused in the Naroda village killing and their arrest in this connection would be made after the completion of their remand in the Naroda Patia case.
