AHMEDABAD: The annual marketing research fair - 'Insight 2010' of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, (IIM-A) will begin on Saturday. The two-day event organised by the institute students will be held on the campus itself and is open to public.
The event will begin with lectures by CMD of Central Bank of India, S Sridhar and IIM-A professors J R Verma and Arindam Banerjee on the requirements of market research in PSUs and the practices and methodologies for market research that are currently followed by banks.
The lecture would also cover the growing role of research in expansion of the banks and also identifying new avenues.
A PGP student Aviral Jain said, "The event is going to be very different than that of last year. We are also expecting a larger crowd this year." The event will also host an all India invitational marketing debating competition called 'Bone of Contention' where the best young marketing minds will engage in a verbal duel of wit and knowledge.
