The state government has sent teams of officials to Chunel village in Mahudha taluka in Kheda district following com-plaints of Dengue and other viral fever.

AHMEDABAD: The state government has sent teams of officials to Chunel village in Mahudha taluka in Kheda district following com-plaints of Dengue and other viral fever.
Officials in the department said that one Krishna Bhatt was detected positive of Dengue. Officials said that apart from Bhatt there were complaint that every second person in the village was suffering from fever and other symptoms of cough and cold.

The officials instead of restricting their search to the area where Bhatt was staying decided to check the entire village and hence team of health officials were sent in the village.
During the checking the officials received complaint that there was a major breeding of mosquito in the village and this was the main reason why the was a outbreak in the village. Officials said that once the survey team submit its reports, there after a team of senior doctors would visit the area.
