Gujarati actor says 'I love you' cured his cancer
AHMEDABAD: A Gujarati actor believes saying the three words - I love you - to over a million people has magically cured him of cancer.
50-year-old Archan Trivedi says he always starts his conversations with people, even on phone, with the three words. He started doing it when he was diagnosed with blood and lung cancers.
Asked how the women he talks to have reacted to it, the Ahmedabad-based actor says, "When you say I love you to anyone with a heavenly feeling, everybody likes it."
Trivedi says it was during the shoot of one of his serials, 'Gunehgaar', in the 90s that he suddenly fell ill and was soon diagnosed with cancer.

Refusing to go for the treatment, he decided to live his life the way he wanted to, and in the process, "found the power" of his favourite words now.

Though he claims he has been cured, he continues to address people with the three words.
After he was diagnosed with cancer, the Gujarat government's art and culture department helped him with a grant of Rs 40,000. When he recovered, he wanted to return the money, but found out there was no provision for it.
Trivedi then donated the money to a cancer hospital in the city.
