The two new ministers of state - Yogesh Patel and Dharmendrasinh Jadeja received portfolios which were given for the first time to any minister of state. None of them got any independent charge.

Yogesh Patel became minister of state for Narmada and urban housing, while the CM continues to hold the portfolio at cabinet level. Dharmendrasinh Jadeja became minister of state for food and civil supply, consumer affairs and small scale industries, while the cabinet portfolio for the same is under Jayesh Radadia.
