Gujarat: 'Borrowed money on interest to reach the US'

AHMEDABAD: Haresh Patel told TOI that as he did not have Rs 55 lakh, he had borrowed the money from a moneylender at a monthly interest of 4%. He said as Manoj Chaudhary had guaranteed the visa to the US, he had dared to take the money such a high rate of interest. He got neither the chance to go to the US nor his money back. Haresh said he will have to struggle to make ends meet and pay off the loan. tnn
