Gujarat board releases schedule for Class 12 Science answer sheet verification
Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) recently announced the results of the Class 12 Science stream examinations held in Feb-March. After the declaration, over 2,000 students dissatisfied with their scores applied for verification of their answer sheets.
As part of the procedure, the board has issued the schedule and call letters for answer sheet inspection online. Students can access and download their call letters from the official board website using their seat number and the mobile number registered during the application process. The board has made it clear that call letters will not be dispatched by post, and must be obtained online.
According to official details, the physical verification process is scheduled to take place on May 28 and 29. Students must remain present at the venue and time specified in their respective call letters.
During the verification exercise, students will be shown their original answer sheets. The inspection primarily checks three aspects: whether marks on individual pages have been accurately totalled on the front page, whether any answers have remained unchecked, and whether there are errors in mark calculations.
If discrepancies are identified during the process, the board will carry out the necessary corrections. It has also been noted that several students have applied for verification in multiple subjects.
This measure aims to ensure transparency and gives students an opportunity to raise concerns related to their evaluation.
