"Until now, AM/NS India mostly depended on chartering foreign-flag vessels for movement of 15 MMTPA of raw materials between the east and west coasts of India. The acquisition of these two vessels will boost the domestic shipping industry," said Hrishikesh Kamat, chief procurement officer, AM/NS India.
