Gothda murder case cracked

VADODARA: The district police claim to have solved the murder case in which a man was killed near Gothda village of Savli taluka. The deceased was allegedly killed by his brother-in-law over a family dispute.
The body of Devendra Patel was found last week on the outskirts of Gothda. Initially, police suspected land dispute to be the reason for the murder.
However, it came to light that the murder was committed by Vijay Patel, the brotherin-law of the deceased.It was Vijay who was the complainant in the case.
A statement by Vijay where he mentioned that Devendra used to come home drunk and create a ruckus, exposed his involvement in the murder.
Devendra allegedly misbehaved with Vijay''s daughters.
Vijay allegedly decided to kill Devendra and took the help of criminal Raisinh Mahida. Vijay and Mahida have been arrested.
