AHMEDABAD: After the transfers of 61 IPS officers earlier this month, four IPS officers and two SPS (
State Police Service
) were transferred on Monday by the
state government
.
IPS officer H R Muliyana was transferred from commandant of SRPF group 12 in Gandhinagar as deputy commissioner of police (DCP), police control room in Ahmedabad in place of IPS officer Balram Meena. Meena was transferred as DCP Rajkot city in place of S R Odedra. Odedra was posted as commandant of group 6 at Mudeti in Sabarkantha.
DCP traffic, Surat city, R F Sanagada was transferred as DCP Zone-2 Ahmedabad in place of SPS officer Usha Rada. Rada was transferred as SP, Mahi Sagar. B R Pandor was transferred as DCP Surat Traffic in place of Sangada.
Sources said more IPS officers are likely to be transferred before the state goes for assembly polls in December 2017.
