Former gangster Nazir Vora held

AHMEDABAD: Vejalpur police rounded up Nazir Vora, a former gangster of Abdul Latif gang, on Monday in connection with a land-grabbing case.
According to Vejalpur police, Minesh Patel, a resident of Yogeshwarnagar near Dharnidhar Derasar, had filed a complaint against Nazir Vora, a resident of Sonal Cinema compound in Juhapura, on May 2. Patel had accused Vora of trespassing in Sonal Cinema compound, which is adjacent to his estate compound on May 1 and placing goods there.The compound has been declared a disputed property by court and has banned both the parties from using it.
Vejalpur police officials said that Vora, having a number of cases against him including confrontation with men of deceased former gangster Abdul Wahab, has been caught for the violation. “His statement will be recorded in the incident as Patel owns a plastic unit in the compound where Vora had allegedly started putting his goods in violation of the court order,” said an investigator.
