Five IAS officers transferred

Gandhinagar: The state government on Wednesday transferred five IAS officers in a reshuffle of the state administration.
Finance department secretary (expenditure) Manisha Chandra has been transferred and given the full-fledged appointment of commissioner of rural development and secretary, rural development, panchayat and rural housing. She held this post as an additional charge.K M Bhimjiyani, secretary, (cooperation, animal husbandry, cow breeding and fisheries) in the agriculture department, has been transferred and appointed secretary (expenditure) in the finance department.
A K Rakesh, ACS, agriculture, farmers welfare and cooperation, will hold additional charge of ACS, (cooperation, animal husbandry, cow breeding and fisheries) in the agriculture department.
Swaroop P, commissioner of land reforms and ex-officio secretary, revenue department, will hold additional charge of secretary (appeals) in the revenue department.
Vijay Nehra, secretary, science and technology department, will hold additional charge of CEO, special projects (Dholera and Mandal Becharaji SIR), relieving Hareet Shukla of additional charge of that post.
