An FIR has been filed in the matter at Sola

high court

police station on Thursday by vigilance officer -2 of Gujrat high court - Chandresh Chandiprasad Shastri.

According to the complaint, on June 13 they got instructions from the Registrar Vigilance to inquire whether the death certificate of the crematorium of one bail applicant’s son, Ajay Patel, is true or not. In the same manner in the case of another applicant, Sarfaraz Shaikh, the registrar had instructed verification of the death certificate of the applicant’s father Mohammed Qasim, issued by the graveyard authorities. Shaikh had produced the certificate to obtain interim bail. Both the interim bail applications were moved in the court through one Purshotam Sarang.

During the inquiry both the certificates turned out to be false and hence an FIR was lodged against Purshotam Sarang for moving the court for interim bail of both Satish Patel and Sarfaraz Shaikh.
