Ex-employee accused of embezzling Rs 3 lakh

AHMEDABAD: Prakash Sharma, an HR executive with Automark Motors Pvt Ltd, located near Sola Bridge, has filed a complaint with the Sola police against a former employee for the alleged siphoning off of Rs 3 lakh.
According to the complaint, Milan Joshi — a resident of Isanpur — used to work in the operations branch from November 7, 2016, to August 10 this year.
Joshi had allegedly received the money from customers related to RTO work, especially for getting numbers of their choice. When various customers complained about getting no update from the RTO even after Joshi had confirmed the payment, the firm started a probe and found the embezzlement. Joshi had resigned on August 1, said investigators.
