Ahmedabad: Event management company’s office burgled

AHMEDABAD: A 32-year-old man from Satellite on Monday filed a complaint with police alleging that burglars broke into the office of his event management company between Saturday night and Monday morning and stole Rs 1.84 lakh cash.
Akash Shah, a resident of Someshwar Rowhouses near Shyamal Crossroads, in his FIR said he runs an event management business from his office in Galaxy Mall near the Jhansi Ni Rani BRTS bus stop.
He said he has five staffers, all of whom have the office keys. Shah said he locked the office at around 7pm on Saturday. On Monday morning, one of his staffers, Mauni Thakkar, called him and informed him about the burglary.
Shah rushed to the office and found that a window at the back of the office was broken. He said Rs 3,000 cash from his drawer and Rs 1.81 lakh from a digital safe had been stolen. He called the police control room and filed a complaint of burglary with Satellite police against the unknown perpetrator.
