Employee embezzles Rs 60L from travel firm
Ahmedabad: Atanu Jaina, 37, a resident of Natasi Park in Thane who is from Odisha, the area head of Jenit Liger Holidays Ltd, lodged a complaint at Navrangpura police station alleging that Ravi Patel, a resident of Gota who is Mehsana, embezzled Thai, American and Indian currency worth a total of Rs 60,54, 500.
According to the FIR, Ravi Patel is the head of their Ahmedabad office, which is located at Third Eye Complex.

The FIR states that Lalit Yadav, Hiren Gandhi, Swaroop Kumar and Amit Patel work at the office.
The FIR alleges that Ravi Patel, since February 2019, collected the money from clients but did not deposit it with the head office. The complainant also alleged that Patel generated false bills and submitted them to the accounts department of the head office.
Navrangpura police said they are probing the details stated in the FIR. “We will take the statements of the other employees of the Ahmedabad office and ask for copies of the bills falsely generated by Ravi Patel. We will also record statements of customers named in the alleged false bills submitted by Ravi Patel,” said a police official of Navranpura police station.
